This home backs up to the Devil’s Backbone Open Space. The objective was to plant native, low-water use plants to beautify the space.

Believe it or not, this front “lawn” is clover and thyme. So green!

The distant view is lovely, but up close, it’s just weeds.

Keeping the distant view, we improved the ground cover and adding a flagstone path, native plants and boulders.

Much of the front area is still “natural” with areas of improvement.
