New construction – a blank slate!

A patio living space with plans for both privacy and pollinators. For plants, we used the Garden-in-a-box program from Resource Central.

I designed it with an unusual patio shape to maximize both usability and planting space. Rather than feeling like it’s a huge slab of pavers, you feel surrounded by nature.

The side yard, with downspouts to accommodate in the design.

A paver path makes for easy access, and the vegetable garden will appreciate the southern exposure and extra water from the downspouts.
