This is an older home without an irrigation system. Watering the narrow front lawn was difficult and unenjoyable.

Rather than grass, low-water use plants, a new tree, and mulch cover the area.

A flagstone path creates a short cut to both the side gate and the hose bib. Once established, these plants will only require occasional watering.
